Brought on three months into an estimated twelve month build, the team was tasked with rebuilding 7 theaters and projection booths, adding 2 new 200-seat theaters, upgrading the acoustic insulation across the theater and managing a rigorous landmark inspection and approval process. A few of our favorite challenges and victories - the connection of a new ConEd gas line to a fully upgraded commercial kitchen, the inspection and reinforcement of 100 year old structural beams and columns, and the amicable replacement of the expediting team, to course correct production and ease crew tensions. Through decisive planning, organization and consistency, the project was turned around, positive relationships were forged and Nitehawk re-opened prior to Christmas 2018.
